Abstract

Peneliti mengangkat judul peran guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengatasi perilaku bullying di SMK Kristen Harapan Rantepao. Kasus bullying di SMK Kristen Harapan Rantepao melibatkan kekerasan fisik akibat kesalahpahaman antara teman sekelas serta tindakan verbal seperti olok-olokan dengan sebutan tidak pantas, yang seharusnya tidak terjadi. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi lapangan untuk mendapatkan fakta langsung dari lapangan. Guru BK berperan sebagai motivator, dan pembimbing dalam membantu siswa mengatasi masalah, serta mencegah dan menangani kasus bullying melalui pendekatan profesional untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan harmonis. Dengan demikian peran guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengatasi perilaku bullying di SMK Kristen Harapan Rantepao terkonfirmasi membantu siswa di sekolah. Kata Kunci : Peran guru bimbingan dan konseling dan perilaku bullying. ABSTRACT The researcher raised the title of the role of guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming bullying behavior at SMK Kristen Harapan Rantepao. The bullying case at SMK Kristen Harapan Rantepao involved physical violence due to misunderstandings between classmates and verbal actions such as teasing with inappropriate names, which should not have happened. The researcher used qualitative research using field study methods to obtain facts directly from the field. BK teachers act as motivators and mentors in helping students overcome problems, as well as preventing and handling bullying cases through a professional approach to create a conducive and harmonious learning environment. Thus, the role of guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming bullying behavior at SMK Kristen Harapan Rantepao is confirmed to help students at school.
