Abstract

Gejala demotivasi siswa yang muncul pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen meliputi kurangnya semangat belajar, kurang berpartisipasi dalam pembelajaran dan bahkan bolos sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menguraikan faktor penyebab demotivasi siswa. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif data diperoleh dengan cara melakukan observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini penulis menemukan faktor-faktor yang dapat menjadi penyebab demotivasi belajar peserta didik terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu pertama faktor internal meliputi faktor fisiologis diantaranya yaitu kondisi lelah secara fisik dan kesehatan jasmani yang terganggu dan faktor psikologis diantaranya yaitu intelegensi, minat,motivasi, kecerdasan. Kedua faktor eksternal meliputi faktor keluarga yaitu kebiasaan dan faktor sekolah diantaranya yaitu metode mengajar, relasi guru dengan siswa, relasi siswa dengan siswa, alat pelajaran dan waktu sekolah. Kata kunci : Demotivasi siswa, pendidikan Agama Kristen. ABSTRACT Symptoms of student demotivation that appear in Christian Religious Education learning include lack of enthusiasm for learning, lack of participation in learning and even skipping school. This research aims to analyze and describe the factors that cause student demotivation. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. Data was obtained by conducting observations and interviews. As a result of this research, the author found factors that could cause students' learning demotivation consisting of two factors, namely, first, internal factors including physiological factors, including physical fatigue and disturbed physical health, and psychological factors, including intelligence, interest, motivation, intelligence. The two external factors include family factors, namely habits and school factors, including teaching methods, teacher-student relationships, student-student relationships, learning tools and school time.
