Abstract
Zem Sambeta, 2020164547. The researeh entitled "The Effectiveness of the Toraja Church's Evangelism Strategy in Tombang Kaluku, Simbuang", with the problem statement "How the Evangelism Strategy applied by the Toraja Church of the Simbuang Congregation, Tombang Kaluku places of worship and how effectiveness evangelism is in Tombang Kaluku.The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the evangelism strategy and the effectiveness of the evangelism strategy at the place of worship, Tombang Kalua'.This study uses a literature study method, nameiy data coilection through iiterature, theses and supporting books related to the subject matter in this writing as well as conducting researeh in the field.Sources of data used are collecting data through researeh by means of observation and interviews. And the data will be analyzed through a narrative method.Based on the data analysis conducted, it was concluded that, with the skills possessed by the evangelist, it can bring people into Christianity and increase the number of members in the church.The Toraja Church, the place of worship in Tombang Kaluku, uses four (4) strategies in spreading the gospel. Nameiy through Worship, Love Service, Pastoral or Pastoral Care and through association. These four ways have an impaet on society which makes the Church continue to develop. This development is not only through the number of congregation members but also from a spiritual perspective which is continuously maintained in the community, which is mostly aluk todolo.
