Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini terangkat dari masalah siswa yang memiliki motivasi rendah, guru BK mengatakan bahwa kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa karena adanya faktor dari internal dan eksternal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok di SMP Negeri 1 Rantepao. Strategi guru BK merupakan cara membantu siswa mengatasi masalahnya, guru BK memiliki strategi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok maka strategi guru BK dapat dilaksanakan melalui penerapan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan 4 tahapan kegiatan yang pertama melalui tahapan pembentukan, kedua tahapan peralihan, ketiga tahapan kegiatan, keempat tahapan pengakhiran. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok di SMP Negeri 1 Rantepao berhasil sehingga motivasi belajar siswa meningkat dengan perubahan yang dapat dilihat dari minat belajarnya. Kata Kunci: Strategi guru bimbingan dan konseling, motivasi belajar, bimbingan kelompok. ABSTRACT This research addresses the problem of students who have low motivation, guidance and counseling teachers say that students' lack of motivation to learn is due to internal and external factors. The aim of this research is to find out the strategies of guidance and counseling teachers in increasing the learning motivation of class VIII students through group guidance services at SMP Negeri 1 Rantepao. The guidance and counseling teacher strategy is a way to help students overcome problems, the guidance and counseling teacher has a strategy to increase student learning motivation through group guidance services, so the guidance and counseling teacher's strategy can be implemented through the implementation of group guidance services with 4 stages of activity, the first through the formation stage, the second the realization stage, the third stage activities, four stages of completion. This research method is qualitative research. Data collection methods through observation and interviews. The results of the research show that the guidance and counseling teacher's strategy in increasing the learning motivation of class VIII students through group guidance services at SMP Negeri 1 Rantepao was successful so that students' learning motivation increased with changes that could be seen in their interest in learning.
