Abstract

ABSTRAK Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) merupakan sistem yang tersusun dari berbagai komponen yang bekerja sama untuk mengelola data menjadi suatu informasi yang akurat dan relevan bagi penggunanya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan implementasi SIM yang baik dalam konteks administrasi kependudukan, termasuk di Kantor Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Mamasa. Dalam konteks pelayanan administrasi kependudukan, berbagai komponen SIM harus terintegrasi dengan baik sehingga pelayanan dapat berjalan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi SIM dalam proses administrasi kependudukan di Kantor Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Mamasa, dan dampaknya terhadap pelayanan administrasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Dinas dan pegawai di lokasi penelitian. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa implementasi SIM telah berjalan dengan baik dan secara signifikan berdampak baik terhadap efisiensi operasional dan pengendalian dalam proses administrasi kependudukan, meskipun tantangan terkait infrastruktur teknologi dan stabilitas jaringan komunikasi masih perlu diatasi untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan peningkatan pelayanan ke depan. Kata kunci: Administrasi Kependudukan, Sistem Informasi Manajemen ABSTRACT Management Information System (MIS) is a system composed of several components that work together to manage data into accurate and relevant information for its users. This research is based on the need for the implementation of a good MIS in the context of population administration, including at the Mamasa Regency Population and Civil Registration Office. In the context of population administration services, various MIS components must be well integrated so that services can run optimally. This research aims to find out the implementation of MIS in the population administration process at the Mamasa Regency Population and Civil Registration Office, and its impact on administrative services. The research method is a qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this research were the Head of Service and employees at the research location. The data was then analyzed by reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the implementation of MIS has been running well and has significantly impacted both operational efficiency and control in the population administration process, although challenges related to technological infrastructure and communication network stability still need to be overcome to ensure sustainability and service improvement in the future.
