Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh role model yang ditunjukkan oleh guru yang membentuk karakter kristiani pada siswa, dikarenakan siswa belum menunjukkan karakter kristiani sehingga perlu menganalisis peran role model Christian spirituality formation guru dalam pembentukan karakter kristiani siswa kelas 3 UPT SDN 7 Gandangbatu Sillanan. Role model ialah seseorang yang dijadikan teladan untuk membentuk dan mengubah karakter dan perilaku, dalam hal ini guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data, serta guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen, siswa, dan wali kelas 3 sebagai informan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran penting sebagai role model dalam pembentukan karakter Kristiani siswa. Guru mendemonstrasikan karakter kristiani seperti kasih, kejujuran,kesopanan dan disiplin melalui kegiatan kerohanian dan praktik keagamaan secara verbal dan non verbal baik pembelajaran di dalam kelas pun di luar kelas. Kata kunci: Role model, Christian spirituality formation, guru, karakter Kristiani, Pendidikan Agama Kristen. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the role model shown by the teacher who forms Christian character in students, because students have not shown Christian character so it is necessary to analyze the role of the Christian spirituality formation role model of the teacher in the formation of Christian character of students in grade 3 UPT SDN 7 Gandangbatu Sillanan. Role model is someone who is used as an example to shape and change character and behavior, in this case the Christian Religious Education teacher. The method used is qualitative by using observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data, as well as Christian Religious Education teachers, students, and 3rd grade guardians as informants. This research shows that teachers have an important role as role models in the formation of students' Christian character. Teachers demonstrate Christian characters such as love, honesty, politeness and discipline through spiritual activities and religious practices verbally and non-verbally both in-class and out-of-class learning.
