Abstract

Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ditemui penulis di lapangan yaitu kurangnya minat belajar siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan agama Kristen sehingga dirumuskanlah pertanyaan yang diteliti yaitu bagaimana efektivitas model pembelajaran tipe STAD dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dengan tujuan untuk menguraikan keefektifan model pembelajaran tipe STAD dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas VII SMP PGRI Uluway. Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada teori yang menekankan pada adanya aktivitas dan interaktif diantara siswa untuk saling memotivasi dan saling membantu dalam menguasai materi pelajaran guna mencapai prestasi yang maksimal dengan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan dua siklus melalui tipe STAD maka minat belajar siswa mengalami Perkembangan yaitu pada siklus I aspek minat belajar siswa masih kurang sehingga dilanjutkan ke penelitian siklus II. Setelah melakukan penelitian pada siklus II dengan memperhatikan kekurangan atau permasalahan yang ada pada siklus 1 maka dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran berhasil sesuai dengan target utama. Itu menggambarkan bahwa tipe STAD merupakan tipe yang efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Efektivitas, Minat, Belajar, Siswa Kelas VII dan Student Team Achievement Division. Based on thc problems encountercd by the author in the field, namely the lack of student interest in learning, cspccially in the subject of Christian religious education, the research question was formulated, namely how the effectivencss of the STAD type learning model in increasing student interest in learning with the aim of describing the effectivencss of the STAD type learning model in increasing student interest in learning class VII SMP PGRI Uluway. This research is based on a theory that emphasizes the existence of Interactive and Interactive activities among students to motivate each other and help each other in mastering the subject matter in order to achieve maximum achievement by using the classroom action research method. The results showed that in the implementation of two cycles through the STAD type, the student's interest in learning experienced development, namely in the first cycle the aspect of student interest in learning was still lacking, so it was continued to the second cycle of research. After conducting research in the second cycle by paying attention to the deficiencies or problems that existed in the first cycle, it can be said that the learning was successful in accordance with the main target. It illustrates that the STAD type is an ejfective type in increasing students' interest in learning. Keywords : effectivencss, interest, learning, class VII and Student Team Achievement Division.
