Abstract
ABSTRAK Pada observasi awal mengenai profesionalisme guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam transformasi pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum merdeka, terdapat beberapa masalah yang menjadi tantangan bagi guru di mana guru diperhadapkan dengan pola pikir dan metode pengajaran yang harus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa yang memiliki karakter berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profesionalisme guru pendidikan agama Kristen dalam transformasi pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum merdeka di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Tana Toraja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dan observasi terhadap guru-guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen, kepala sekolah dan siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Tana Toraja dan SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen sangat penting dalam konteks kurikulum merdeka di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Tana Toraja yang sudah terealisasi tetapi belum maksimal karena masih ada guru yang belum mampu dalam meramu metode pembelajaran dengan materi ajar bahkan karakter peserta didik berbeda-beda yang masih menjadi tantangan bagi guru. Profesionalisme guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen bukan hanya tentang pengajaran tetapi juga kemampuan untuk membentuk karakter, kemampuan dan keterampilan serta mempersipkan siswa untuk mengahadapi tantangan zaman yang terus berubah. Profesionalisme guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen memiliki empat kompetensi yaitu kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, profesional, dan sosial. Peran profesionalisme guru pendidikan agama Kristen dalam mengimplementasikan transformasi pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum merdeka secara efektif yakni menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, guru sebagai fasilitator dalam pembelajaran yang berpusat kepada siswa, sehingga siswa mandiri dan mampu mengembangkan kemampuan dan keterampilannya di lingkup SMA Negeri 2 Tana Toraja dan SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja. Kata Kunci: Profesionalisme Guru, Transformasi Pembelajaran, Kurikulum Merdeka. ABSTRACT In the initial observation of the professionalism of Christian Religious Education teachers in the transformation of independent curriculum-based learning, there are several problems that are challenges for teachers where teachers are faced with a mindset and teaching methods that must be adjusted to the needs of students who have different characters. This study aims to determine the professionalism of Christian religious education teachers in the transformation of independent curriculum-based learning at Tana Toraja Regency State High School. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research by collecting data through interviews and observations of Christian Religious Education teachers, principals and students at SMA Negeri 2 Tana Toraja and SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja. The results of the study show that the professionalism of Christian Religious Education teachers is very important in the context of the independent curriculum at Tana Toraja Regency State High School, which has been realized but has not been maximized because there are still teachers who are not able to concoct learning methods with different materials and even the character of students which is still a challenge for teachers. The professionalism of Christian Religious Education teachers is not only about teaching but also the ability to form character, abilities and skills and prepare students to face the challenges of the ever-changing times. The professionalism of Christian Religious Education teachers has four competencies, namely pedagogic, personal, professional, and social competencies. The role of the professionalism of Christian religious education teachers in implementing the transformation of independent curriculum-based learning effectively is to create a fun learning environment, teachers as facilitators in student-centered learning, so that students are independent and able to develop their abilities and skills within the scope of SMA Negeri 2 Tana Toraja and SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja.
