Abstract

ABSTRAK Setiap budaya memiliki keunikan masing-masing, terlebih khusus dalam budaya Toraja pada proses penciptaan yang disebut Sauan Sibarrung. Sibarrung adalah sebuah alat atau wadah yang dipakai oleh Puang Matua dalam menciptakan manusia dari emas mumi. Pada posisi ini penulis akan menguraikan Sauan Sibarrung dalam kacamata teologi kontekstual yang bertitik tolak pada proses penciptaan Alkitab. Penulis membahas topik ini karena penulis ingin menguraikan Sauan Sibarrung dalam kacamata teologi kontekstual yang bertitik tolak pada proses penciptaan Alkitab. Hal ini sangat penting dalam penerapan teologi kontekstual terlebih khusus pada budaya Toraja. Oleh karena itu, penulis merasa sangat penting untuk mengkaji lebih jauh masalah tersebut, seperti yang dituangkan dalam tulisan ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metode Kualitatif. Dan berdasarkan landasan teori dan penelitian yang dilakukan di lapangan, penulis mendapat infonnasi bahwa dalam kacamata teologi kontekstual penulis melihat bahwa narasi Sauan Sibarrung ini selaras dengan nilai yang terkandung dalam proses penciptaan dalam Alkitab yaitu manusia diciptakan menurut gambar dan rupa Allah, sedangkan narasi penciptaan versi dalam Sauan Sibarrung yaitu manusia di ciptakan dari emas mumi yang dimaknai orang Toraja awal mulanya sangat berharga dan tidak ternilai. Keduanya memiliki makna yang sama yaitu manusia adalah ciptaan yang berharga dihadapan penciptanya. Atas dasar ini penulis melihat bahwa makna penciptaan dari budaya Sauan Sibarrung dan penciptaan versi alkitab selaras. Pada akhir tulisan ini penulis berharap bahwa, setiap pembaca dapat memperoleh informasi mengenai makna penciptaan yang ada pada buadaya Toraja dalam hal ini "Sauan Sibarrung" sehingga pembaca dapat mengerti kontekstualisasi teologi penciptaan Toraja. Kata Kunci: Sauan Sibarrung, Konteks dan Penciptaan. ABSTRACT Each culture has its own uniqueness, especially in Toraja culture in the process of creation called Sauan Sibarmng. Sibarrung is a tool or Container used by “Puang Matua” in creating humans from pure gold. In this position, the author will describe Sauan Sibarrung in the context of contextual theology which is based on the process of the creation of the Bible. The author discusses this topic because the author wants to describe Sauan Sibarrung in the context of contextnal theology which is based on the process of the creation of the Bible. This is very important in the application of contextual theology, especially in Toraja culture. Therefore, the writer feels that it is veiy important to study this problem further, as outlined in this paper. The method used in this paper is a qualitative method. And based on the theoretical basis and research carried out in the field, the author received information that from the perspective of contextual theology the author saw that Sauan Sibarrung's narrative was in harmony with the values contained in the creation process in the Bible, namely that humans were created in the image and likeness of God, while the narrative of creation in the Bible version Sauan Sibarrung, namely humans created from pure gold, which was interpreted by the Toraja people at first as very valuable and priceless. Both have the same meaning, namely that humans are valuable creations in front of their creators. On this basis, the author sees that the meaning of creation from the Sauan Sibarrung culture and the creation of the bible version is in harmony. At the end of this paper, the writer hopes that eveiy reader can obtain information about the meaning of creation in Toraja culture in this case "Sauan Sibarrung" so that readers can understand the contextualization of Toraja creation theology.
