Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis work life balance pekerja Gereja KIBAID Klasis Pa'buaran. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan enam informan yang terdiri atas pendeta, guru injil dan jemaat. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work life balance pekerja gereja belum sepenuhnya tercapai. Pekerja lebih memprioritaskan pelayanan daripada kehidupan pribadi dan keluarga, memiliki keterlibatan yang tinggi dalam pelayanan, serta memperoleh kepuasan karena memandang pelayanan sebagai panggilan hidup. Namun, tuntutan pelayanan yang tinggi juga menyebabkan kelelahan fisik dan mental. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pekerja Gereja KIBAID Klasis Pa'buaran memiliki komitmen yang tinggi terhadap pelayanan, tetapi masih perlu meningkatkan keseimbangan antara pelayanan dan kehidupan pribadi agar kesehatan, kesejahteraan, dan keberlanjutan pelayanan tetap terjaga. Kata Kunci: Work Life Balance, Pekerja Gereja ABSTRACK This study aims to analyze the work-life balance of KIBAID Church workers in the Pa’buaran Classis. The study employed a qualitative method with five informants, consisting of pastors and Gospel teachers. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that work-life balance among church workers has not yet been fully achieved. Workers prioritize ministry over their personal and family lives, demonstrate a high level of commitment to ministry, and derive satisfaction from viewing ministry as their life’s calling. However, the high demands of ministry also lead to physical and mental exhaustion. This study concludes that church workers at the KIBAID Pa’buaran Classis have a high commitment to ministry but still need to improve the balance between ministry and personal life to ensure that their health, well-being, and the sustainability of their ministry are maintained.
