Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam menangani Cyberbullying di SMPN SATAP 2 Malimbong Balepe’ di tandai dengan ejekan, penyebaran gosip bohong, dan cemoohan fisik via media social. Hal ini berdampak negative pada psikologis siswa seperti trauma dan rasa terkucilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam menangani kasus tersebut. Landasan teori mencakup tugas, prinsip, asas pelayanan Bimbingan dan Konseling, serta definisi, jenis, dan karasteristik Cyberbullying. Penelitian mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru BK, siswa, dan pihak sekolah, serta dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara induktif meliputi reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian di harapkan memberikan gambaran kongkret strategi intervensi Guru BK sebagai bahan pengembangan layanan BK yang lebih efektif menangani Cyberbullying di lingkungan sekolah. Kata Kunci: Cyberbullying, peran guru BK, Bimbingan dan Konseling,pencegahan, intervensi. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the role of guidance and counseling teachers in addressing Cyberbullying at SMPN SATAP 2 Malimbong Balepe’ is characterized by teasing, spreading false gossip, and mocking physical appearance via social media. This negatively impacts students’ psychological well-being, leading to trauma and feelings of isolation. This study aims to analyze the role of guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in addressing these cases. The theoretical framework encompasses BK service duties, principles, and founddations, as well as the definition, types, and characteristics of cyberbullying. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, in-depth interviews with BK teachers, students, and school staff, and documentation. Data were analyezed inductively involving reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results are expected to provide a concrete overview of BK teacher intervention strategies as input for developing more BK services in handlingCyberbullying within the school environment.
