Abstract

Agustinus Tomassawa. Gaya Kepemimpinan Yesus Berdasarkan Yohanes 13:1–20 sebagai Landasan bagi Kepemimpinan Majelis Gereja Toraja Jemaat Karappa’ Klasis Rembon Sado’ko’. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan Yesus berdasarkan Yohanes 13:1–20 sebagai landasan bagi kepemimpinan Majelis Gereja Toraja Jemaat Karappa’. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara terhadap tujuh informan yang terdiri dari anggota jemaat dan dianalisis berdasarkan indikator kerendahan hati, servant leadership, keteladanan, kemampuan melayani jemaat, pengambilan keputusan, dan tanggung jawab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Majelis Gereja Toraja Jemaat Karappa’ telah menerapkan beberapa nilai kepemimpinan Yesus, seperti melayani dengan kasih, memperhatikan kebutuhan jemaat, hadir dalam situasi sakit dan dukacita, serta terlibat dalam berbagai kegiatan pelayanan. Namun, penerapannya belum sepenuhnya optimal dan konsisten, terutama dalam aspek keteladanan, pemerataan pelayanan, pelibatan jemaat dalam pengambilan keputusan, penyelesaian konflik, dan tanggung jawab pelayanan. Oleh karena itu, kepemimpinan Yesus dalam Yohanes 13:1–20 relevan menjadi landasan bagi kepemimpinan majelis untuk mewujudkan pelayanan yang lebih efektif, membangun kepercayaan jemaat, dan memperkuat persatuan gereja. Abstract This study aims to analyze the leadership style of Jesus in John 13:1–20 as the foundation for the leadership of the elders (Majelis Gereja) at Gereja Toraja Jemaat Karappa’ Klasis Rembon Sado’ko’. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews with seven informants. The findings were analyzed based on six indicators of servant leadership: humility, servant leadership, exemplary conduct, ability to serve the congregation, decision-making, and responsibility. The results show that the elders have demonstrated several values of Jesus’ leadership, particularly in serving the congregation, caring for members who are sick or grieving, maintaining involvement in church activities, and showing commitment to ministry. However, the implementation of these values has not been fully consistent. Challenges remain in treating all members equally, becoming role models, understanding congregational needs, involving members in decision-making, resolving conflicts, and maintaining trust. Therefore, Jesus’ leadership in John 13:1–20 serves as a relevant foundation for church leadership, emphasizing humility, service, love, responsibility, and a commitment to the common good.
