Abstract

Perilaku bullying verbal masih menjadi permasalahan serius di lingkungan sekolah yang berdampak negatif terhadap kondisi psikologis siswa, termasuk di SMP Negeri 6 Rembon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan konseling kelompok teknik modeling simbolic terhadap penurunan perilaku bullying verbal siswa. Landasan teori yang digunakan adalah teori belajar sosial Albert Bandura yang menekankan perubahan perilaku melalui proses observasi terhadap model simbolik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group, melibatkan 14 siswa yang terbagi menjadi 7 siswa kelompok eksperimen dan 7 siswa kelompok kontrol. Intervensi dilakukan dalam 4 sesi konseling kelompok menggunakan media audiovisual. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai Z = -2,371 dengan Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,018 < 0,05, sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Artinya, layanan konseling kelompok teknik modeling simbolic berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penurunan perilaku bullying verbal siswa di SMP Negeri 6 Rembon. ABSTRACT Verbal bullying behavior remains a serious problem in the school environment that negatively affects students' psychological well-being, including at SMP Negeri 6 Rembon. This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling services using the symbolic modeling technique on reducing students' verbal bullying behavior. The theoretical foundation used is Albert Bandura's social learning theory, which emphasizes behavioral change through the process of observing symbolic models. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design, involving 14 students divided into 7 students in the experimental group and 7 students in the control group. The intervention was conducted in 4 group counseling sessions using audiovisual media. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results showed a Z value of -2.371 with Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.018 < 0.05, meaning H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Therefore, group counseling using the symbolic modeling technique has a significant effect on reducing verbal bullying behavior among students at SMP Negeri 6 Rembon.
