Abstract

Konflik sengketa tanah yang terjadi di Gedung gereja jemaat Se’pon Sopai berjalan cukup lama. Kasus ini didasar oleh adanya konflik antara majelis gereja dan salah satu pemilik tanah tongkonan yang berdiri di Gedung gereja Sepon Sopai. Kasus tersebut terus berlanajur sampai tidak ada titik terang dan kasus ini akhirnya dibawa ke jalur hukum dan mencari titik permasalahan. Dan gereja berupaya mendamaikan konflk yang terjadi. tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana majelis gereja berperan aktif majelis gereja ditengah-tengah konflik sengketa tanah. Teori manajemen konflik yang dikaji oleh Rusdiana berupaya mencari titik temu dan tiitik terang dalam konflik. Dalam kasus ini penulis memakai metode kualitatif dipilih dalam data ini karena dengan cara ini peneliti dapat mengumpulkan data yang terjadi didalapangan secara mendalam secara mendalam dari hasil penelitian tersebut adanya kesalapahaman antara pemilik tanah dan salah satu majelis Kata kunci:konflik, tanah,perselisihan, majelis. ABSTRACT The land dispute at the Se'pon Sopai church building has been ongoing for quite some time. This case stemmed from a conflict between the church council and one of the landowners of the tongkonan (traditional Indonesian house) that stands on the site of the Sepon Sopai church building. The case dragged on until no resolution was reached, and the case was eventually taken to court to find the root cause of the problem. The church attempted to resolve the conflict. The purpose of this study is to examine how the church council actively participated in the land dispute. The conflict management theory studied by Rusdiana attempts to find common ground and a bright spot in the conflict. In this case, the author used a qualitative method because it allowed the researcher to collect in-depth data on the situation in the field. The results of this study revealed a misunderstanding between the landowner and one of the council members. Keywords: conflict, land, dispute, council.
