Abstract
Stres kerja merupakan fenomena yang umum terjadi di tempat kerja dan dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Stres kerja adalah kondisi ketegangan atau tekanan yang dialami seseorang akibat tuntutan pekerjaan yang melebihi kemampuan atau sumber daya yang dimiliki, sehingga memengaruhi emosi, proses berpikir, dan kondisi fisik maupun psikologis karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Malea Energy. Penelitian ini dikaji menggunakan teori model transaksional yang dikemukakan oleh Richard Lazarus dan Susan Folkman. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Dalam penelitian ini jumlah populasi dipersempit dari jumlah karyawan sebanyak 400 karyawan dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin menjadi 80 karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, berdasarkan uji parsial nilai t hitung -12.019 > t tabel 1.990 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 serta nilai pada unstandardized coefficient B adalah -0,806 artinya terdapat arah hubungan yang negatif (berlawanan) semakin tinggi tingkat stres kerja, maka semakin rendah kinerja karyawan. Kata kunci: Stres Kerja, Kinerja Karyawan, Teori Stres Model Transaksional ABSTRACT Work stress is a common phenomenon in the workplace and can affect employee performance. Work stress is a condition of tension or pressure experienced by someone due to job demands that exceed their abilities or resources, thus affecting emotions, thought processes, and physical and psychological conditions of employees. This study aims to determine the effect of job stress on employee performance at PT Malea Energy. This research was studied using the transactional model theory proposed by Richard Lazarus and Susan Folkman. The type of research used in this study is quantitative with a correlational approach. In this study, the population was narrowed down from 400 employees by using the Slovin formula to 80 employees. The results showed that work stress has a significant effect on employee performance, based on partial tests, the calculated t value is 12.019 > t table 1.990 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and the value of the unstandardized coefficient B is -0.806, meaning that there is a negative (opposite) direction of relationship, the higher the level of work stress, the lower the employee performance.
