Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rumusan masalah bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa, berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada yaitu siswa belum terlibat dalam mengerjakan tugas, kurang terlibat dalam memecahkan masalah, kurang bertanya kepada siswa yang lain atau kepada guru jika masih ada materi yang tidak dipahami, siswa kurang berani untuk tampil mempresentasikan hasil diskusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Dicovery Learning untuk mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di kelas 3 SDN 10 Makale. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus, yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Dalam hasil yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada keaktifan siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I, keaktifan siswa mencapai rata-rata 55% yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang sementara pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 87% termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kata kunci : Discovery Learning, keaktifan siswa, PAK ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the formulation of the problem of how the application of the Discovery Learning learning model can increase student activity, based on existing problems, namely students have not been involved in doing assignments, less involved in solving problems, less asking other students or teachers if there is still material that is not understood, students are less brave to appear to present the results of the discussion. This study aims to apply the Discovery Learning learning model for Christian Religious Education subjects in grade 3 of SDN 10 Makale. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with two cycles, which include the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. In the results that show an increase in student activity from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, student activity reached an average of 55% which is included in the medium category while in cycle II it increased to 87% which is included in the high category. This shows that the application of the Discovery Learning learning model can be used in learning. Keywords: Discovery Learning, student activity, PAK
