Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tindakan bullying berdasarkan penampilan fisik di SDN 2 Tallunglipu dan bagaimana Pendidikan Agama Kristen berperan dalam membentuk etika siswa dalam menanggapi perilaku tersebut. Bullying yang berkaitan dengan penampilan fisik dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kondisi emosional, mental, dan sosial siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi terhadap guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan siswa korban bullying. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindakan bullying masih terjadi dan memberikan dampak psikologis yang signifikan bagi korban. Pendidikan Agama Kristen memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai kasih, penghargaan terhadap sesama, dan empati. Nilai-nilai tersebut menjadi dasar pembentukan etika siswa agar mampu menghargai setiap individu tanpa memandang perbedaan fisik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar nilai-nilai Kristiani terus ditekankan dalam pembelajaran dan pembinaan karakter di sekolah untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan penuh kasih. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze acts of bullying based on physical appearance at SDN 2 Tallunglipu and how Christian Religious Education plays a role in shaping students’ ethics in responding to such behavior. Bullying related to physical appearance can negatively impact students’ emotional, mental, and social well-being. The research used a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews and observations involving Christian Religious Education teachers and students who had experienced bullying. The findings indicate that bullying still occurs and causes significant psychological effects on the victims. Christian Religious Education plays an important role in instilling the values of love, respect for others, and empathy. These values serve as a foundation for forming students’ ethical awareness to treat others with dignity regardless of physical differences. The study recommends that Christian values be continuously emphasized in character education to create a safe and compassionate school environment.
