Abstract
Marni Tandi Linggi (1020218266) menulis Skripsi tentang Peran Pendidikan Agama Kristen bagi Perkembangan Iman Pemuda berdasarkan teori James W. Fowler di GPSDI Jemaat Moria Baruppu’. Peran pendidikan agama Kristen sangat penting dalam perkembangan iman pemuda melalui pembinaan, bimbingan, pembentukan dan pengajaran dengan program-program yang telah disusun dalam gereja. Di GPSDI Jemaat Moria Baruppu’, ada 5 pemuda yang mengalami penurunan kualitas iman disebabkan oleh perilaku dan tindakan yang kurang baik dalam diri pemuda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran pendidikan agama Kristen bagi perkembangan iman pemuda berdasarkan teori James W. Fowler. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan deskriptif dan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa di GPSDI Jemaat Moria Baruppu’, ada tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pemuda yang menyebabkan imannya menurun. Sehingga tantangan tersebut diselesaikan melalui indikator perkembangan iman Fowler dengan menggunakan peran pendidikan agama Kristen dalam gereja melalui, pengajaran, pembinaan, pembentukan serta program-program yang telah disusun. ABSTRACT Marni Tandi Linggi (1020218266), authored a thesis entitled Christian Religious Education and the Development of Young People’s Faith An Examination Based on James W. Fowler Theory at the GPSDI Jemaat Moria Baruppu’. The role of Christian religious education is crucial in the development of young people’s faith through guidance, mentorship, formation, and teaching, as designed within the church. At GPSDI Jemaat Moria Baruppu’, there are 5 young people who experience a decline in the quality of their faith due to unhealthy behaviors and actions within themselves. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of Christian religious education in the development of young people’s faith based on James W. Fowler’s theory at the GPSDI Jemaat Moria Baruppu’. This study uses a qualitative method through a descriptive approach and data collection using observation, interview, and literature study. The results of this study indicate that at GPSDI Jemaat Moria Baruppu’, there are challenges faced by young people that cause their faith to decline. Therefore, those challenges indicators by utilizing the role of Christian religious education in the church through teaching, guidance, formation, and programmed activities.
