Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis teologi kontekstual terhadap ritual ma’pakendek tanduk tedong di lembang Buakayu. Penelitian ini ingin mencari tahu bagaimana teologi kontekstual bekerja dari makna tanduk kerbau yang dilakukan di Lembang Buakayu. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini, di gunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan model Antropologi Bevans, dengan melakukan Pengamatan, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang penulis kaji. Hasil yang di peroleh melalui penelitian lapangan menunjukkan bahwa pemasangan tanduk kerbau pada penyangga atau tiang tongkonan menandakan identitas keturunan bagi suatu keluarga dan merupakan bentuk penghayatan spiritual bagi keturunan atas penyertaan serta pertolongan Tuhan bagi nenek moyang mereka pada zaman dulu. Untuk itu pemasangan tanduk tedong di lakukan bagi keturunan keluarga tersebut yang sampai sekarang masih di lestarikan oleh keluarga untuk mengingat perjuangan yang telah dilalui. Kata kunci : Teologi kontekstual, model antropologi Bevans, tanduk tedong. ABSTRACT This research discusses the contextual theology analysis of the ma’pakendek ritual using buffalo horns in Lembang Buakayu. This research aims to understand how contextual theology operates through the meaning of buffalo horns used in Lembang Buakayu. In conducting this research, a qualitative method was used with the Bevans Anthropology model approach, involving observation, interviews, and documentation with the aim of obtaining information related to the issues being studied by the author. The results obtained through field research indicate that the installation of buffalo horns on the support or pillars of the tongkonan signifies the lineage identity of a family and serves as a form of spiritual appreciation for the descendants regarding God's presence and assistance to their ancestors in the past. Therefore, the installation of the buffalo horns is carried out for the descendants of the family, which is still preserved by the family to this day to remember the struggles they have gone through.
