Abstract

Resiliensi diartikan sebagai kecakapan untuk mengatasi dan bertahan dalam mengalami permasalahan. Penelitian ini, dilatarbelakangi oleh keadaan resiliensi beberapa keluarga ODGJ di Kelurahan Bebo'yang perlu dibentuk karena belum mampu untuk mengatasi beberapa tekanan yang dihadapi dalam merawat ODGJ, seperti tidak mampu menerima keadaan karena keputusasaan dalam menghadapi tantangan yang timbul selama proses perawatan yang berpengaruh pada resiliensinya. Namun, mereka menerima dukungan yang baik dari sekitarnya yang dapat menjadi faktor pembentuk resiliensi. Seperti dihargai dan diterima oleh masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu, tulisan ini hendak menggambarkan bagaimana hospitalitas Kristen sebagai faktor pembentukan resiliensi keluarga orang dengan gangguan jiwa di Kelurahan Bebo'. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa resiliensi keluarga orang dengan gangguan jiwa di Kelurahan Bebo' cukup baik karena masyarakat memberikan dukungan dengan praktik hospitalitas Kristen. Namun, keluarga ODGJ perlu untuk membentuk resiliensi lagi karena belum memenuhi indikator penerimaan dan tahan banting. Kata Kunci: Resiliensi, Hospitalitas Kristen, Keluarga ODGJ. Abstract Resilience is defined as the ability to overcome and endure when facing challenges. This research is niotivated by the resilience status of several families of individuals with mental disordes in Bebo', which needs to be developed because they have not been able to cope with the pressures theyface while caring for their mentally illfamily members. They may struggle to accept the situation, leading to a sense of hopelessness in facing the challenges that arise during the caregiving process, which affects their resilience. However, they receive strong support from their surroundings, which can act as afactor in building resilience, such as being valued and accepted by the community. This study adopts a qualitative phenomenological research approach. The results of this research illustrate that the resilience of families of whohave persons with mental disorders in Bebo' is quite good due to the support provided by the community through the practice of Christian hospitality. However, families of individuals with mental disorders need to further develop their resilience as they have not fully met the indicators of acceptance and resilience.
