Abstract

Kebahagiaan merupakan aktivitas-aktivitas yang bersifat manusiawi menjalankan pemikiran dan kebenaran sebagai keutamaansecara intelektual dan moralmengaktualisasikan potensi. Secara individual, kebahagiaan, ditentukan oleh perasaan ketersambungan dengan tujuan hidup dengan masyarakat secara spiritual atau kebersandaran (transenden) manusia pada sesuatu yang bersifat ilahi dan dengan segala sesuatu yang bermakna. Kebersandaran manusia sepenuhnya terhadap Allah sebagai bentuk pribadi yang takut akan Tuhan dan gemar melakukan segala perintah-Nya serta menerima sepenuhnya Yesus Kristus sebagai Juru Selamat merupakan titik tertinggi secara spriritualitas iman Kristen mencapai kebahagiaan. Dengan demikian semakin takut akan Tuhan dan melaksanakan segala perintah Tuhan melalui Yesus Kristus, maka semakin berbahagia. Dalam konteks, pendidikan Kristen di sekolah eksklusif SMA Kristen Barana’,peserta didik yang tidak mampu beradaptasi untuk mengembangkan potensi diri mengindikasikan peserta didik tersebut belum memiliki sikap takut takut akan Tuhan sehingga kurang berbahagia. Hal tesebut menjadi titik tolak pemikiran sebagai dasar penelitian secara kuantitatif dengan tujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kebahagiaan yang berimplikasi pengembangan diri peserta didik SMA Kristen Barana. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa takut akan Tuhan dan suka melakukan perintah Allah karena menerima sepenuhnya Yesus Kristus sebagai Juru Slamat memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap tingkat kebahagiaan sebesar 43,7%. Sedangkan implikasi kebahagiaan secara signifikan mempengaruhi pengembangan diri peserta didik sebesar 34,2%. Dengan demikian, semakin berbahagia, maka semakin mampu mengembangkan diri. Dari hasil uji hipotesa terbukti bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan takut akan Tuhan dan suka melakukan perintah Allah karena menerima sepenuhnya Yesus Kristus sebagai Juru Slamat terhadap tingkat kebahagiaan yang berimplikasi pengembangan diri peserta didik. Sekolah yang berlandaskan pendidikan kekristenan sebagai proses pengarusutamaan nilai-nilai iman Kristen seharusnya mendorong secara taktis peserta didik menjadi pelaku Firman Allah pada tataran praksis bukan sekedar teoritis dan dogmatis dengan menerapkan pola asuh kekristenan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Takut akan Tuhan, Berbahagia, Pengembangan Diri ABSTRACT Happiness is activities thal are human in nature to carry out thoughts and truth as a virtue, intellectually and morally, actualizing polential. Individually, happiness is determined by a feeling of conlinuity with the purpose of life with society in a spiritual way or human reliance (transcendence) on something divine and with everything that is meaningful. Human reliance entirely on God as a form of person who fears God and likes to do all His commands and fully accepts desus Christ as Savior is the highest point in the spirituality of Christian faith to achieve happiness. Thus the more featful of God and carry out all God's commands through desus Christ, the happier they are. In the context of Christian education in the exclusive Barana Christian high school, students who are unable to adapt to develop their potential indicate that these students do not have the attitude of fearing God so they are less happy. This becomes the starting point for thinking as a basis for quantitative research with the aim of analyzing the factors that affect the level of happiness which have implicalions for the self-development of Barana Christian High School students. This study proves that fearing God and loving to do God's commands because fully accepting desus Christ as Savior has a significant effect on the happiness level of 43.7%. While the implications of happiness significantly affect the self-development of students by 34.2%. Thus, the happier they are, the more able to develop themselves in school activities. The results of the hypothesis test, it were evident that there is a significant effect of fearing God and liking to do God's commands because fully accepting desus Christ as Savior on the level of happiness which has implications for the self-development of students. As a school which is based on Christian education as a process of mainstreaming Christian faith values, i t should be tactically encouraging students t o become doers of God's Word at the practical level, not just theoretical and dogmatic by applying Christian parenting in the learning process.
