Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan kondisi Gen Z masa kini yang menghadapi tantangan dalam mempertahankan eksistensinya dalam suatu komunitas gereja. Harapan gereja masa kini ialah Gen Z, sebagian besar warga gereja ialah Gen Z, namun sudah banyak yang meninggalkan gereja atau berpandangan buruk terhadap gereja karena ada tindakan-tindakan yang tidak dapat diterima oleh setiap Gen Z sehingga banyak yang meninggalkan gereja. Ini menunjukan keberadaan Trust Issues yang terjadi di kalangan gereja, termasuk dalam konteks masyarakat Toraja masa kini. Kasus Trust Issues juga terjadi dalam kalangan gereja yang ada di Toraja. Banyak Gen Z masa kini meninggalkan gereja, namun ada juga mengalami kasus yang sama tetapi tetap bergereja dalam kondisi kehilangan damai sejahtera. Perlu penanganan serius dalam permasalahan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Melihat secara langsung bagaimana kondisi korban yang mengalami Trust Issues terhadap gereja, mencari penyebab, dampak hingga cara untuk mengintervensi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh korban. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam masalah Trust Issues ini ialah pendekatan Psiko-Teologi. Kedua disiplin ilmu yang dipertemukan dalam menyelesaikan suatu persoalan. Psikologi menyelesaikan secara psikis dan teologi menyelesaikan secara spiritual. Penggunaan integrasi juga merupakan suatu model yang menunjukan pengembangan ilmu dalam menghadapi kondisi atau permasalahan yang sedang terjadi. Dari penelitian tersebut ditemukan capaian akhir setelah meneliti korban melalui wawancara tak terstruktur. Artinya dengan membiarkan korbn untuk menceritakan masalah yang di hadapi. Setelah memperoleh data tersebut, maka dilakukan analisis, teori-teori yang ada dipertemukan dengan data yang telah diperoleh di lapangan. Hasil akhir tulisan ini dapat membantu masyarakat gereja membuka mata terhadap kondisi masa kini, bagaimana seharusnya memperhatikan Gen Z sebagai generasi penerus gereja. Tulisan ini juga memberikan solusi bagaimana menghadapi Gen Z yang telah menjadi korban Trust Issues, yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan begereja. Dengan penelitian ini, diharapkan bagi pembaca untuk membuka hati, membuka pikiran dan menaruh perhatian terhadap kondisi gereja. Yang kelihatan baik-baik saja bukan berarti tidak ada masalah, namun terkada ada masalah yang tersebunyi. Dengan tulisan ini, diharap dapat berkontribusi secara signifikan bagi ketentraman kehidupan bergereja khususnya dalam kondi Gen Z masa kini. Kata Kunci: Integrasi Psiko-Teologi, Trust Issues, Gen Z.  ABSTRACT This research was conducted based on the current condition of Gen Z which faces challenges in maintaining its existence in a church community. The hope of today's church is Gen Z, most church members are Gen Z, but many have left the church or have a bad view of the church because there are actions that are unacceptable to every Gen Z so many have left the church. This shows the existence of Trust Issues that occur among the church, including in the context of today's Toraja society. Trust Issues cases also occur among churches in Toraja. Many of today's Gen Zs leave the church, but there are also cases of the same but remain in the church in a state of loss of peace. Serious treatment of this problem is needed.This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Seeing firsthand the condition of victims who experience Trust Issues for the church, looking for causes, impacts and ways to intervene in the problems faced by victims. The solution offered in this Trust Issues problem is a Psycho-Theological approach. The two scientific disciplines that meet in solving a problem. Psychology resolves psychically and theology resolves spiritually. The use of integration is also a model that shows the development of knowledge in facing current conditions or problems. From this research, the final achievement was found after examining the victim through unstructured interviews. This means allowing the victim to tell about the problem at hand. After obtaining this data, an analysis is carried out, the existing theories are brought together with the data that has been obtained in the field. The final results of this article can help church people open their eyes to current conditions, how they should pay attention to Gen Z as the next generation of the church. This article also provides solutions on how to deal with Gen Z who have become victims of Trust Issues, which can be applied in church life. With this research, it is hoped that readers will open their hearts, open their minds and pay attention to the condition of the church. What seems fine does not mean there are no problems, but there are hidden problems. With this article, it is hoped that it can contribute significantly to the peace of church life, especially in the Gen Z condition of the past.
