Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh praktik nyanyian “Aku percaya” yang tidak dinyanyikan secara utuh di Gereja Toraja Mamasa Jemaat Filadelfia, sedangkan nyanyian tersebut memiliki makna Trinitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemaknaan Trinitas dalam praktik nyanyian “Aku percaya” di Gereja Toraja Mamasa jemaat Filadeflia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif studi lapangan, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi serta menggunakan teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian memaparkan bahwa jemaat Filadelfia memaknai Trinitas sebagai Allah Bapa, Anak, dan Roh Kudus, namun dalam praktik nyanyian “Aku percaya”, pemaknaan tersebut tidak diterapkan karena tidak dinyanyikan secara lengkap. Abstract This study is background by the practice of singing "I Believe" which is not sung in full at the Toraja Mamasa Church of the Filadelfia Congregation, while the song has a Trinitarian meaning. This study aims to analyze the meaning of the Trinity in the practice of singing "I Believe" at the Toraja Mamasa Church of the Filadelfia Congregation. The method used in this study is a qualitative field study research method, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation and using data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study explain that the Filadelfia congregation interprets the Trinity as God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but in the practice of singing "I Believe", this meaning is not applied because it is not sung in full.
