Abstract

Eka Pertiwi Turu’ Sambo “Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Untuk Meningkatkan Kemandirian Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Saluputti” melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek sebanyak 31 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing mampu meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Pada prasiklus, sebagian besar siswa berada pada kategori rendah (61,29%). Setelah tindakan pada siklus I, persentase kategori rendah menurun menjadi 41,94%, dan pada siklus II menurun lagi menjadi 3,23%, sementara kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi meningkat dari 6,46% pada prasiklus menjadi 64,51% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing efektif dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas VIII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Saluputti. ABSTRACT Improving the learning independence of eighth-grade students at the UPT SMP Negeri 1 Saluputti through the implementation of a guided inquiry learning model. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles with 31 students as subjects. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observation, and documentation, while the data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods. The results showed that the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model was able to improve student learning independence. In the pre-cycle, the majority of students were in the low category (61.29%). After the implementation in the first cycle, the percentage of low students decreased to 41.94%, and in the second cycle, it decreased again to 3.23%. While the high and very high categories increased from 6.46% in the pre-cycle to 64.51% in the second cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model is effective in improving the learning independence of eighth-grade students at UPT SMP Negeri 1 Saluputti.
