Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar siswa kelas X-9 SMA Negeri 1 Tana Toraja melalui penerapan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik homeroom. Permasalahan penelitian ini didasarkan pada hasil observasi awal yang menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat siswa yang memiliki konsentrasi belajar rendah, seperti kurang memperhatikan penjelasan guru, melamun, serta rendahnya keterlibatan dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan bimbingan dan konseling dengan model siklus Kurt Lewin yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik homeroom dalam layanan bimbingan kelompok dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan persentase konsentrasi belajar siswa dari 51% pada tahap prasiklus, meningkat menjadi 78% pada Siklus I, dan mencapai 85% pada Siklus II. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik homeroom efektif dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar siswa. ABSTRACT The research aims to improve the learning concentration of students in class X-9 at SMA Negeri 1 Tana Toraja through the implementation of group guidance services using the homeroom technique. The research problem was identified based on the results of initial observations, which showed that some students had low learning concentration, as indicated by a lack of attention to teachers’ explanations, daydreaming, and low involvement in the learning process. The research method used was guidance and counseling action research based on the Kurt Lewin cycle model, which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research results showed that the implementation of the homeroom technique in group guidance services could improve students’ learning concentration. This was indicated by the increase in the percentage of students’ learning concentration from 51% in the pre-cycle stage to 78% in Cycle I and 85% in Cycle II. The results of the research indicate that group guidance services using the homeroom technique are effective in improving students’ learning concentration.
