Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya peserta didik tunawicara di Kelas III SDN 6 Rantetayo yang mengalami hambatan dalam berkomunikasi sehingga memerlukan strategi pembelajaran yang sesui dengan kebutuhannya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam mengajar anak tunawicara di kelas III SDN 6 Rantetayo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen, wali kelas III, dan kepala sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen menerapkan strategi pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan media audio-visual berupa gambar, video pembelajaran, mkartun bergambar, dan berbagai media visual lainnya yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik tunawicara. Strategi tersebut membantu peserta didik tunawicara memahami materi Penididikan Agama Kristen dengan mudah, meningkatkan perhatian dan keterlibatan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran serta mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran secara lebih efektif. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the presence of students with speech impairments in grade III of SDN 6 Rantetayo who experience communication barriers and therefore require learning strategies tailored to their needs. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by Christian Religious Education teachers in teaching students with speech impairments in grade III of SDN 6 Rantetayo. This research used a qualitative method with a field study approach. Informants in this study consisted of Christian Religious Education teachers, third-grade homeroom teachers, and the principal. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that Christian Religious Education teachers implement learning strategies utilizing audio-visual media in the form of images, instructional videos, illustrated cartoons, and various other visual media tailored to the needs of students with speech impairments. These strategies help students with speech impairments understand Christian Religious Education material easily, increase their attention and engagement in the learning process, and support the achievement of learning objectives more effectively.
