Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis peran guru pendidikan agama kristen sebagai pamong bagi mahasiswa PPL angatan 2022. Masalah yang menjadi dasar dalam penelitin adalah peran guru pendidikan agama kristen sebagai pamong bagi mahasiswa PPL. Untuk meneliti masalah, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Peran guru pamong sangat penting bagi setiap mahasiswa yang melaksanakan praktik pengenalan lapangan, khususnya angkatan 2022 sebagai bekal bagi para calon guru yang berkompeten dalam bidangnya. Hasil penelitian di UPT SDN 5 Mengkendek, UPT SDN 17 Mengkendek, UPT SMK Andika Mebali dan mahasiswa angkatan 2022 bahwa ada guru pamong yang melakukan peran dan tanggungjawabnya dengan baik dan juga masih ada guru pamong belum melakukan peran dan tanggungjawabnya. Nampak dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan oleh penulis bagi mahasiswa PPL yang mengatakan bahwa guru pamong kurang maksimal dalam melakukan perannya dan tanggung jawabnya. Oleh karena itu komptensi guru pamong sangat diperlukan dalam melakukan peran dan tanggungjawabnya sebagai pendamping bagi mahasiswa PPL. ABSTRACT This study analyzes the role of Christian Religious Education teachers as mentors for the class of 2022 Field Experience Program (PPL) students. The primary issue underlying this research is the role of Christian Religious Education teachers as mentors for these student teachers. To investigate this issue, the author employed a descriptive qualitative method using observation, interviews, and documentation. The role of a mentor teacher is highly crucial for every student undertaking the field experience program, especially the class of 2022, as it serves to equip them to become competent prospective teachers in their field. The research results at UPT SDN 5 Mengkendek, UPT SDN 17 Mengkendek, UPT SMK Andika Mebali, and among the class of 2022 students indicate that while some mentor teachers carry out their roles and responsibilities well, others have not fully performed them. This is evident from the interviews conducted by the author with the PPL students, who stated that some mentor teachers were not optimal in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities. Therefore, the competence of mentor teachers is highly required in executing their roles and responsibilities as guides for PPL students.
