Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya fenomena prokrastinasi, distraksi digital serta padatnya aktivitas perkuliahan dan pelayanan gereja yang memicu buruknya manajemen waktu mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara manajemen waktu dengan prestasi akademik mahasiswa Prodi PAK IAKN Toraja. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan sampel 50 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui proportionate stratified random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner manajemen waktu (22 item, α= 0,916) dan dokumentasi IPK. Hasil analisis menunjukkan rata-rata manajemen waktu berkategori cukup baik (79,46) dan prestasi akademik sangat baik (mean IPK 3,4840). Uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment menghasilkan nilai r = 0,879 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05), sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulannya, terdapat hubungan positif, signifikan dan sangat kuat antara manajemen waktu dengan prestasi akademik mahasiswa dan juga semakin efektif pengelolaan waktu, semakin meningkat pula prestasi akademiknya. Kata Kunci : Manajemen Waktu, Prestasi Akademik, Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Korelasi ABSTRACK This study was motivated by the prevalence of procrastination and digital distractions, alongside the heavy demands of academic assignments and church service activities, all of which contribute to poor time management among students. The study aimed to identify the relationship between time management and the academic achievement of students in the Christian Religious Education (PAK) program at IAKN Toraja. A quantitative correlational method was employed with a sample of 50 students selected via proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a time management questionnaire (22 items, α = 0.916) and Grade Point Average (GPA) records. Analysis results indicated that the mean time management score fell into the "fairly good" category (79.46), while academic achievement was rated as "very good" (mean GPA of 3.4840). The Pearson Product Moment correlation test yielded an r-value of 0.879 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05); consequently, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted. In conclusion, there is a positive, significant, and very strong relationship between time management and student academic achievement; furthermore, more effective time management is associated with higher academic achievement.
