Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital menghadirkan Smart TV sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif yang mampu menampilkan materi secara visual, menarik, dan partisipatif. Tetapi, di SMP Kristen Kandora penggunaannya sering bergeser ke hiburan sehingga minat belajar siswa menurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemanfaatan fitur interaktif Smart TV dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas VIIIA. Landasan teori mengacu pada konsep media pembelajaran interaktif, indikator minat belajar menurut Slameto, serta peran teknologi pendidikan dalam mendukung keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara guru, kepala sekolah, dan siswa, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian, interpretasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan uji keabsahan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Smart TV efektif meningkatkan minat belajar melalui tampilan visual, video pembelajaran, dan aplikasi interaktif. Siswa lebih senang, tertarik, dan aktif, meski tantangan muncul ketika Smart TV digunakan untuk hiburan. Kata Kunci: Smart TV, Minat Belajar, Interaktif. ABSTRACT Advances in digital technology have brought about Smart TVs as interactive learning media capable of displaying material in a visual, engaging, and participatory manner. However, at the Kandora Christian Junior High School their use often shifts to entertainment, causing students' interest in learning to decline. This study aims to analyse the use of Smart TV interactive features in Christian Religious Education to increase the learning interest of Grade VIIIA students. The theoretical basis refers to the concept of interactive learning media, indicators of learning interest according to Slameto, and the role of educational technology in supporting student engagement. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation techniques, interviews with teachers, principals, and students, as well as documentation. Data analysis was conducted through reduction, presentation, interpretation, and conclusion drawing with triangulation validity testing. The results showed that Smart TVs were effective in increasing learning interest through visual displays, learning videos, and interactive applications. Students were happier, more interested, and more active, although challenges arose when Smart TVs were used for entertainment. Keywords: Smart TV, Interest in Learning, Interactive.
