Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis implementasi student centered learning dalam meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada pembelajaran PAK di UPT SDN 5 Bonggakaradeng. Student centered learning adalah pendekatan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa yang bertujuan untuk mendorong siswa terlibat secara aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang mereka ikuti. Pendekatan pembelajaran student centered learning dilakukan dengan metode diskusi, bermain peran dan juga menggunakan strategi discovery learning atau pembelajaran penemuan. Dalam observasi awal penulis ditemukan bahwa di UPT SDN 5 Bonggakaradeng guru telah menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran student centered learning yang ditunjukkan melalui metode pembelajaran yang digunakan akan tetapi fenomena yang penulis jumpai dalam pembelajaran tersebut siswa cenderung kurang aktif dan pasif dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian yang di dapatkan di UPT SDN 5 Bonggakaradeng menunjukkan bahwa metode-metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru PAK terbukti mampu meningkatkan keaktifan siswa yang terbukti dari keaktifan siswa dalam bertanya serta antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran dan aktif dalam diskusi kelompok. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of student-centered learning in increasing student activeness in PAK learning at UPT SDN 5 Bonggakaradeng. Student-centered learning is a student-centered learning approach that aims to encourage students to be actively involved in the learning activities they participate in. The student-centered learning approach is carried out using discussion methods, role-playing, and also using discovery learning strategies. In the author's initial observations, it was found that at UPT SDN 5 Bonggakaradeng, teachers have implemented a student-centered learning approach as shown through the learning methods used, however, the phenomenon that the author encountered in the learning was that students tended to be less active and passive in learning. The results of the study obtained at UPT SDN 5 Bonggakaradeng showed that the learning methods used by PAK teachers were proven to be able to increase student activeness as evidenced by students' activeness in asking questions and being enthusiastic in participating in learning activities and being active in group discussions.
