Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak kecemasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Bank Sulselbar Cabang Makale. Kecemasan kerja dipahami sebagai kondisi emosional yang muncul akibat tuntutan pekerjaan, beban kerja yang tinggi, serta risiko kesalahan dalam pekerjaan perbankan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi terhadap karyawan. Landasan teoritis yang digunakan adalah teori kecemasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan yang menjelaskan bahwa kondisi psikologis individu berpengaruh terhadap hasil kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecemasan kerja yang dialami karyawan berdampak pada menurunnya konsentrasi, motivasi kerja, serta ketelitian dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Kondisi tersebut berimplikasi pada penurunan kualitas dan efektivitas kinerja karyawan. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan kecemasan kerja menjadi penting untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di lingkungan perbankan. Kata kunci: kecemasan kerja, kinerja karyawan, perbankan ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the impact of job anxiety on employee performance at PT Bank Sulselbar Makale Branch. Job anxiety is understood as an emotional condition that arises due to job demands, high workload, and the risk of errors in banking operations. This research employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews and observations involving employees. The theoretical framework used in this study is job anxiety and employee performance theory, which explains that employees’ psychological conditions influence their work outcomes. The findings indicate that job anxiety experienced by employees leads to decreased concentration, reduced work motivation, and lower accuracy in task completion. These conditions result in a decline in the quality and effectiveness of employee performance. Therefore, managing job anxiety is essential to maintain and improve employee performance in the banking sector. Keywords: job anxiety, employee performance, banking.
