Abstract

Konseling Pastoral Bagi Anak Broken Home Dengan Pendekatan Teknik Cognitive Behavior Therapy (Cbt) Di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Mamullu Klasis Kapala Pitu ABSTRAK Konseling pastoral adalah proses bimbingan, pertolongan dan penyadaran yang diusahakan sengaja dan disusun sedemikian rupa yang diberikan oleh konselor terhadap konseli yang bertujuan untuk membantu meringankan dan mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh konseli dengan menciptakan suasana yang mendukung sehingga konseli mampu menyelesaikan permasalahannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menjelaskan dan menguraikan konseling pastoral bagi anak broken home, dengan pendekatan teknik cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) Di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Mamullu Klasis Kapala Pitu. Pendekatan ini dipilih karena kemampuannya untuk menolong individu dalam mengelola pola pikir negatifdan emosi yang memengaruhi perilaku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan berbasis konseling kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui hasil wawancara, observasi dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak anak broken homeyang belum bisa mengontrol emosi dan merasa diri tidak berharga. Pendampingan pastoral dengan pendekatan CBT dapat membantu broken home menghadapi tantangan emosional. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa konseling pastoral dengan pendekatan CBT terbukti mampu menjawab kebutuhan psikologis dan spiritual anak-anak broken home di Jemaat Mamullu. Pendekatan ini dapat dijadikan model dalam pelayanan gerejawi untuk kasus-kasus serupa, serta menjadi dasar dalam pengembangan pelayanan konseling yang lebih terstruktur di kalangan gereja-gereja lokal. Pastoral Counseling for Children from Broken Homes Using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) Techniques at the Toraja Church, Mamullu, Kapala Pitu Classis ABSTRACT Pastoral counseling is a deliberate and structured process of guidance, assistance, and awareness-raising provided by a counselor to a client. The goal is to alleviate and overcome the problems faced by the client by creating a supportive environment that enables the client to resolve their issues. This study aims to explain and describe pastoral counseling for children from broken homes using cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) techniques at the Toraja Church, Mamullu, Kapala Pitu Classis. This approach was chosen because of its ability to help individuals manage negative thought patterns and emotions that influence behavior. This study used a qualitative counseling-based action research method. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documents. The results indicate that many children from broken homes still cannot control their emotions and feel worthless. Pastoral care using a CBT approach can help broken homes face emotional challenges. The conclusion of this study is that pastoral counseling using a CBT approach has proven effective in addressing the psychological and spiritual needs of children in broken homes in the Mamullu Congregation. This approach can serve as a model for church services in similar cases and as a basis for developing more structured counseling services within local churches.
