Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hermeneutik Yehezkiel 34:11-12, 16 mengenai konsep servant leadership (kepemimpinan yang melayani) dan implikasinya bagi pengelolaan serta pembinaan di Panti Asuhan Kristen Tangmentoe. Melalui analisis historis-simbolik terhadap teks Yehezkiel ditemukan bahwa Tuhan menegur para pemimpin Israel yang gagal menjalankan tanggung jawabnya sebagai gembala, dan menegaskan model kepemimpinan yang ideal: pemimpin yang bertanggung jawab, peduli, dan mengutamakan kesejahteraan anggota yang dipimpinnya. Robert K. Greenleaf menekankan prinsip servant leadership, bahwa seorang pemimpin sejati adalah mereka yang terlebih dahulu melayani, mengedepankan kebutuhan dan pengembangan anggota, serta membangun relasi yang etis dan spiritual. Implikasi dari temuan ini, jika diterapkan di Panti Asuhan Kristen Tangmentoe, perlunya transformasi gaya kepemimpinan pengurus menjadi lebih inklusif, empatik, dan berorientasi pada pemberdayaan anak asuh yang menjadi wadah pertumbuhan karakter dan spiritualitas anak-anak melalui teladan kepemimpinan yang melayani. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan nilai-nilai servant leadership dalam setiap aspek pengelolaan panti asuhan demi menciptakan lingkungan yang memberdayakan dan meneladani kasih Kristus. Kata kunci: Hermeneutik, Panti Asuhan, Servant Leadership, Yehezkiel 34:11-12, 16 ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the hermeneutic of Ezekiel 34:11-12, 16 regarding the concept of servant leadership and its implications for management and guidance at the Tangmentoe Christian Orphanage. Through historical-symbolic analysis of the text of Ezekiel, it was found that God rebuked the leaders of Israel who failed to carry out their responsibilities as shepherds, and emphasized the ideal leadership model: leaders who are responsible, caring, and prioritize the welfare of the members they lead. Robert K. Greenleaf emphasized the principle of servant leadership, that a true leader is one who serves first, prioritizes the needs and development of members, and builds ethical and spiritual relationships. The implication of these findings, if applied at Tangmentoe Christian Orphanage, is the need to transform the leadership style of the board to be more inclusive, empathic, and oriented towards the empowerment of foster children who become a place for the growth of children's character and spirituality through servant leadership examples. This study recommends the application of servant leadership values in every aspect of orphanage management in order to create an environment that empowers and exemplifies the love of Christ.
