Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan masalah bagaimana gambaran motivasi karyawan di PT. Sulotco Jaya Abadi dari perspektif teori kebutuhan Abraham Maslow. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran motivasi kerja karyawan di PT. Sulotco Jaya Abadi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dapat menunjukkan gambaran teori motivasi kerja Abraham Maslow pada karyawan di PT. Sulotco Jaya Abadi. Diantaranya, Kebutuhan fisiologis, karyawan bulanan mendapatkan uang makan dan tempat tinggal. Kebutuhan akan rasa aman, karyawan merasa nyaman dalam bekerja, tersedia transportasi bagi karyawan disaat mengalami kecelakaan kerja. Kebutuhan social, karyawan memiliki komunikasi yang baik, dan rasa empati yang tinggi selain itu terpenuhinya kebutuhan akan cinta dan kasih sayang karena adanya pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga. Kebutuhan akan penghargaan, diberikannya bonus atau reward terhadap karyawan yang memiliki pencapaian target. Aktualisasi diri, dimana karyawan dalam bekerja sesuai dengan basicnya dan juga memiliki kemampan dalam mencapai target yang diberikan perusahaan. Kata kunci : Motivasi Kerja, Hierarki Abraham Maslow. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the problem of how employee motivation is portrayed at PT. Sulotco Jaya Abadi from the perspective of Abraham Maslow’s theory of needs. This study aims to describe the picture of employee work motivation at PT. Sulotco Jaya Abadi. The sereach method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interview and documentation. The results of the study can show a description of Abraham Maslow’s theory of work motivation in employees at PT. Sulotco Jaya Abadi. Among, Physiological needs, Eployees reveive monthly food and housing money, The need for a sense of security, employees feel comfortable at work, transportation is available for employees when they experience a work accident, The social needs of employees have good communication, and a high sense of empaty in addition to the fulfillment of the need for love and affection because of the fulfillment of family needs, The need for appreciation, bonuses or rewards are given to employees who have achieved targets, Self-actualization, where employees work according to their basics and also have the ability to achieve the targets given by the company.
