Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis inovasi dalam penyusunan bahan ajar dan dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di UTP SDN 17 Mengkendek. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya peran bahan ajar yang inovatif dalam menunjang efektivitas pembelajaran, khususnya dalam pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai kristen. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif studi lapangan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan inovasi dalam penyusunan bahan ajar, seperti penggunaan media digital, pendekatan kontekstual, serta integrasi nilai-nilai praktis kehidupan sehari-hari, memberikan dampak positif terhadap minat belajar siswa, keterlibatan dalam proses pembelajaran, dan pemahaman materi ajar. Selain itu, guru sebagai fasilitator berperan penting dalam merancang bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa. Dengan demikian, inovasi penyusunan bahan ajar terbukti berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di sekolah tersebut. Kata kunci: Inovasi, bahan ajar, kualitas pembelajaran. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze innovation in the preparation of teaching materials and its impact on improving the quality of Christian Religious Education learning at UTP SDN 17 Mengkendek. The background of this study is based on the importance of the role of innovative teaching materials in supporting the effectiveness of learning, especially in character education based on Christian values. The method used is a qualitative field study with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of innovation in the preparation of teaching materials, such as the use of digital media, contextual approaches, and the integration of practical values of everyday life, has a positive impact on students' interest in learning, involvement in the learning process, and understanding of teaching materials. In addition, teachers as facilitators play an important role in designing teaching materials that are in accordance with the needs and characteristics of students. Thus, innovation in the preparation of teaching materials has been proven to contribute significantly to improving the quality of Christian Religious Education learning at the school.
