Abstract

Yunike Limbong, (1320218585), menyusun skripsi dengan judul “Analisis Motivasi Kerja karyawan Menggunakan Teori Hirearki Kebutuhan Maslow Di PT Pegadaian Rantepao Toraja Utara”, dibimbing oleh dosen pembimbing I dan dosen pembimbing II. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai motivasi yang dimiliki oleh karayawan di PT Pegadaian Rantepao dalam proses melihat bagaimana motivasi dapat meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan yang dikaji dengan menggunkan Teori Hirearki Kebutuhan Maslow. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sberapa pentingnya motivasi kerja dalam meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan di PT Pegadaian Ramntepao yang dikaji mengunakan teori Abraham Maslow. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi non-partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi dengan validasi data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pika Lestari (kasir pegadaian rantepao), dan Bapak Yulius Kayangan (staf adminidrasi pegadaian) yang masih tahan bekerja di PT Pegadaian Rantepao. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap peningkatan produktivitas pada karyawan. Kata kunci: Motivasi kerja, motivasi kerja Abraham Maslow. ABSTRACT Yunike Limbong (1320218585) wrote a thesis entitled "Analysis of Employee Work Motivation Using Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory at PT Pegadaian Rantepao, North Toraja," under the guidance of a first and second supervisor. This study examines employee motivation at PT Pegadaian Rantepao, examining how motivation can increase employee productivity, as assessed using Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory. The purpose of this study was to determine the importance of work motivation in increasing employee productivity at PT Pegadaian Rantepao, as assessed using Abraham Maslow's theory. The method used was qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, non-participatory observation, and documentation studies, with data validation using source triangulation. The informants in this study were PL (a cashier at Pegadaian Rantepao) and YL (an administrative staff member at Pegadaian Rantepao), both of whom are still working at PT Pegadaian Rantepao. The results show that work motivation has a very significant influence on increasing employee productivity. Keywords: Work motivation, Abraham Maslow's work.
