Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi di lapagan adalah masih adanya siswa yang melakukan pelanggaran kedisiplinan, seperti keterlambatan, pelanggaran seragam, dan perilaku tidak tertib. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan keyakinan sekolah dalam mewujudkan kedisiplinan siswa di UPT SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi, untuk memahami secara mendalam pengalaman siswa dan guru dalam menerapkan serta meresapi nilai-nilai keyakinan sekolah. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori E. Mulyasa yang menyatakan bahwa kedisiplinan bertujuan membentuk kepribadian siswa yang bertanggung jawab, mandiri, dan patuh terhadap aturan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan keyakinan sekolah dapat membentuk perilaku disiplin siswa. Namun, faktor internal seperti motivasi pribadi dan pengaruh lingkungan juga turut memengaruhi keberhasilan penerapan disiplin. Kata kunci: Pemanfaatan, keyakinan sekolah, kedisiplinan ABSTRACT The problem that occurs in the field is that there are still students who commit disciplinary violations, such as tardiness, uniform violations, and disorderly behavior. This study aims to determine the use of school beliefs in realizing student discipline at the UPT SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type, to understand in depth the experiences of students and teachers in implementing and absorbing the values of school beliefs. The theory used is E. Mulyasa's theory which states that discipline aims to shape the personality of students who are responsible, independent, and obedient to the rules. The results of the study indicate that the use of school beliefs can shape student discipline behavior. However, internal factors such as personal motivation and environmental influences also influence the success of discipline implementation. Keywords: Utilization, school beliefs, discipline
