Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kompetensi spiritualitas guru dengan pembentukan karakter siswa kelas VII di SMPN 1 Sopai. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional, penelitian ini melibatkan 45 responden dan menganalisis data melalui uji korelasi dan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung<ttabel (0,681<2,704) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 sehingga hipotesis nol (H0) di terima dan (H1) ditolak. Artinya tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan secara statistik antara kompetensi spiritualitas guru dan pembentukan karakter siswa. Namun demikian, ditemukan hubungan positif dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,047 yang menunjukkan bahwa spiritualitas guru tetap memiliki kontribusi sebesar 47% terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa meskipun tidak dominan. Kata kunci: Hubungan, Spiritualitas, Karakter ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the relationship between teacher Spirituality competence and character formation of class VII students at SMPN 1 sopai. Using a correlational quantitative approach, this study involved 45 respondents and analyzed data through correlation tests and simple regression. The research results show that the value of t-test value <t-table (0.681 <2.704) with a significant level of 0.05 so that the (H0) hypothesis is accepted and (H1) his rejected. This means that there is no statistically significant relationship between the teacher's spiritual competence and the formation of student character. However, a positive relationship was found with a correlation coefficient of 0.047 which shows that the teacher's spirituality still has a 47% contribution to the formation of student character even though it is not dominant.
