Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul pengaruh kemampuan membaca terhadap literasi Alkitab siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 6 Bittuaang. Tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan membaca terhadap literasi Alkitab siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 6 Bittuang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode peneletian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan peneltiian survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang sekaitan dengan kemampuan membaca dan literasi Alkitab siswa dan disebarkan secara langsung kepada 16 responden yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 6 Bittuang. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara kemampuan membaca dan literasi Alkitab siswa. Hal itu ditandai dengan hasil uji regresi linear sederhana yang menunjukkan bahwa t hitung < t tabel yaitu dengan nilai 1,222 < 2, 145 dengan nilai signifikan 0,05, yang menunjukkan bahwa H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak. Pengaruh kemampuan membaca terhadap literasi Alkitab siswa memiliki pengaruh yang lebih rendah dibandingkan faktor-faktor lain seperti peran orang tua, lingkungan, dan motivasi. Kata Kunci: kemampuan membaca, literasi Alkitab, siswa. ABSTRACT The study is entitled the influence of reading ability on Bible literacy of class IV students of SD Negeri 6 Bittuang. The purpose of writing this thesis is to determine the influence of reading ability on Bible literacy of class IV students of SD Negeri 6 Bittuang. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a survey research approach. Data were collected through questionnaires related to students’ reading ability and Bible literacy and distributed directly to 16 respondents, namely all clas IV students of SD Negeri 6 Bittuang. The result of the study showed that t count < t table, namely with a value of 1,222 < 1,145 with a significant value of 0,05, which indicated that H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected. The influence of reading ability on students’ Bible literacy has a lower influence compared to other factors such as the role of parents, environment, and motivation.
