Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Agama Kristen. Latar belakang penelitian adalah rendahnya motivasi belajar akibat metode pembelajaran yang monoton. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen. Subjek terdiri dari kelas 4A (7 siswa) sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media video animasi, dan kelas 4B sebagai kelas kontrol (10 siswa) dengan metode ceramah. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan angket, serta analisis data menggunakan uji t-independen dengan bantuan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video animasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Rata-rata skor observasi dan angket juga meningkat setelah perlakuan. Kesimpulannya, media video animasi efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang menarik, interaktif, dan menyenangkan. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of animated video-based learning media on students' learning motivation in Christian Religion subjects. The background of the study is the low learning motivation due to monotonous learning methods. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The subjects consisted of class 4A (7 students) as an experimental class using animated video media, and class 4B as a control class (10 students) with a lecture method. Data collection techniques through observation and questionnaires, and data analysis using the independent t-test with the help of SPSS 25. The results showed that animated video media had a significant effect on students' learning motivation, with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The average observation and questionnaire scores also increased after treatment. In conclusion, animated video media is effective in increasing students' learning motivation and can be an alternative to interesting, interactive, and enjoyable learning.
