Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi, yang dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya penurunan antusiasme dan semangat kerja karyawan setelah perubahan sistem kerja dari karyawan mitra menjadi kerja harian. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian menggunakan teori Kartono tentang indikator gaya kepemimpinan dan teori Robbins tentang indikator kinerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan melalui kemampuan pengambilan keputusan, memotivasi, komunikasi, pengendalian bawahan, tanggung jawab, dan pengendalian emosi berdampak pada penurunan kinerja setelah perubahan sistem kerja, terlihat dari menurunnya kualitas hasil panen, tidak tercapainya target kuantitas, keterlambatan penyelesaian tugas, penggunaan sumber daya yang belum optimal, tingkat kemandirian yang bervariasi, serta penyelesaian masalah yang belum efektif dalam mengatasi penurunan motivasi karyawan. ABSTRACT This study examines leadership style on employee performance at PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi, which is motivated by a decrease in employee enthusiasm and morale after changing the work system from partner employees to daily work. The purpose of the study was to analyze the leadership style on employee performance. The study used Kartono's theory of leadership style indicators and Robbins' theory of performance indicators. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results showed that the leadership style applied through the ability to make decisions, motivate, communicate, control subordinates, responsibility, and control emotions had an impact on the decline in performance after changes in the work system, as seen from the decline in the quality of harvest results, the non-achievement of quantity targets, delays in completing tasks, the use of resources that are not optimal, varying levels of independence, and problem solving that has not been effective in overcoming the decline in employee motivation.
