Abstract
Pemimpin adalah sosok sentral dalam menentukan perkembangan dan kemajuan organisasi, tetapi dalam menjalankan proses kepemimpinan tentu terdapat berbagai hal yang terjadi di luar kemampuan seorang pemimpin. Oleh karena itu, pemimpin harus mampu berfokus pada sesuatu yang dapat dikendalikan dalam menghadapi berbagai situasi sulit. Sikap pemimpin yang mampu berfokus pada sesuatu yang dapat dikendalikannya tercermin dari Tokoh Shikamaru, melalui kepemimpinan pada misi pengejaran Sasuke. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan dikotomi kendali dalam kepemimpinan Shikamaru dan relevansinya pada kepemimpinan Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Kepemimpinan Kristen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Shikamaru pada kepemimpinannya menerapkan nilai-nilai dikotomi kendali, seperti fokus pada sesuatu yang dapat dikendalikan (persepsi, tindakan dan emosi pribadinya) dan tidak terdistraksi oleh sesuatu yang tidak dapat dikendalikan (perspektif dan tindakan orang lain, situasi eksternal serta hasil akhir). prinsip-prinsip Dikotomi kendali ini juga relevan untuk diterapkan oleh pengurus HMPS Kepemimpinan Kristen, agar dapat lebih tenang dalam menyikapi masalah yang terjadi dalam proses kepengurusannya. ABSTRACT A leader is a central figure in determining the development and progress of an organization, but in carrying out the leadership process there are certainly various things that happen beyond a leader's abilities. Therefore, leaders must be able to focus on something that can be controlled in dealing with various difficult situations. The attitude of a leader who is able to focus on something he can control is reflected in the character Shikamaru, through his leadership in the pursuit of Sasuke. This research aims to analyze the application of the dichotomy of control in Shikamaru's Leadership and its relevance to the leadership of the Christian Leadership Study Program Student Association. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The final results of this research show that Shikamaru in his leadership applies the values of the dichotomy of control, such as focusing on something that can be controlled (perceptions, actions and personal emotions) and not being distracted by something that cannot be controlled (perspectives and actions of other people, external situations and final results). The principles of the Dichotomy of Control are also relevant to be applied by the management of HMPS Christian Leadership, so that they can be calmer in responding to problems that occur in the management process.
