Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya masalah kenakalan remaja pada kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Seko yaitu bolos sekolah 13 orang, merokok 10 orang dan seks bebas 3 orang, karena itu guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen menerapkan strategi komunikasi persuasif untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi persuasif guru PAK dalam mengatasi kenakalan remaja kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Seko. Ada 3 strategi komunikasi persuasif menurut Melfin Defleur dan Sandra yang dapat mengatasi kenakalan remaja yaitu strategi psikodinamika, sosiokultural dan the meaning construction. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menggambarkan strategi komunikasi persuasif guru PAK dalam mengatasi kenakalan remaja kelas VIII. Data dikumpulkkan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan 9 informan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, display data dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa dari 13 remaja yang bolos berkurang menjadi 5 dan 10 remaja yang merokok berkurang menjadi 2 dan seks bebas sudah tidak lagi terjadi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa guru PAK berhasil mengubah perilaku remaja melalui mengkolaborasi sterategi psikodinamika, sosiokultural, dan the meaning construction. Pendekatan personal berbasis nilai-nilai Kristiani terbukti efektif dalam membentuk karakter remaja. Kata kunci : PAK, Peran Guru, Strategi Komunikasi Persuasif, Kenakalan Remaja This research is motivated by the problem of juvenile delinquency in class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Seko, namely skipping school 13 people, smoking 10 people and free sex 3 people, therefore Christian Religious Education teachers apply persuasive communication strategies to overcome these problems. This study aims to analyze the persuasive communication strategies of PAK teachers in overcoming juvenile delinquency in class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Seko. There are 3 persuasive communication strategies according to Melfin Defleur and Sandra that can overcome juvenile delinquency, namely psychodynamic, sociocultural and the meaning construction strategies. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the persuasive communication strategies of PAK teachers in overcoming juvenile delinquency in class VIII. Data were collected through observation and interviews with 9 informants. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display and data interpretation. The results of the study explained that out of 13 teenagers who skipped class were reduced to 5 and 10 teenagers who smoked were reduced to 2 and free sex no longer occurred. This shows that PAK teachers succeeded in changing adolescent behavior through collaborating psychodynamic, sociocultural, and the meaning construction strategies. The personal approach based on Christian values proved to be effective in shaping the character of adolescents.
