Abstract
The main problem is that there are problems in the learning process, namely students are less active in participating in the learning process. The teacher conveys the material using only the lecture method. The learning process that involves intellectually in students is very low.The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the Window Shopping model to increase the learning engagement of class VII students at SMPN 1 Buntu Pepasan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research method used is the PTK by Kemmis and Mc Taggart which includes 4 stages, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of this study indicate that there is a good increase in student learning activeness. This is shown by reaching 30.77% of students in cycle I increased to 76.9% of students in cycle II. By considering the various existing obstacles and then fixing them at the next meeting and cycle. Thus the activeness of student learning can achieve completeness by using the window shopping learning model.
