Abstract
Tulisan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketegangan yang sering terjadi dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang memperjumpakan antara Injil dan budaya, tidak terkecuali dalam kehidupan masyarakat dan gereja di Mamasa. Ketegangan tersebut seringkali lahir dalam perjumpaannya dengan kepercayaan nenek moyang masyarakat Mamasa yaitu aluk todolo. Menjawab ketegangan tersebut, maka tulisan ini dimaksudkan untuk mempertemukan antara teks Alkitab yaitu Imamat 3:1-17 tentang korban keselamatan dan teks budaya yaitu tunuan tallu rara. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode hermeneutik melalui pendekatan cross-textual hermeneutics yang berusaha untuk mencari persamaan dan perbedaan dari kedua teks baik perbedaan apresiatif, perbedaan yang memperkaya serta perbedaan yang tidak dapat dipertemukan. Hasilnya memperlihatkan bahwa kedua teks baik korban keselamatan maupun tunuan tallu rara dapat saling memperkaya satu sama lain melalui keunikan yang terkandung dari masing-masing teks. Pemerkayaan tersebut terlihat dalam persamaan kedua teks yaitu nilai, makna dan tujuan yang dimaksudkan sebagai sarana permohonan berkat, kesejahteraan, dan kedamaian kepada Allah, sarana untuk menyatakan syukur kepada Allah, serta untuk membangun nilai kasih dan persekutuan. Selain itu, kedua teks juga dapat saling diperkaya melalui ajakan untuk memberikan yang terbaik, penghargaan akan imam dan tomatua tondok, serta pentingnya nasihat kepada masyarakat yang akan melakukan korban. Meskipun ditemukan pula perbedaan dari kedua teks, namun hasil dari pemerkayaan ini diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat kedua teks dalam merespon pluralitas masyarakat melalui perjumpaan teks budaya dan Alkitab. ABSTRACT This article is motivated by the tension that often occurs in people's lives where the Gospel and culture meet, including in the life of society and the church in Mamasa. This tension often arises in encounters with the beliefs of the Mamasa people's ancestors, namely aluk todolo. Responding to this tension, this article is intended to bring together the biblical text, namely Leviticus 3:1-17 concerning the sacrifice of salvation, and the cultural text, namely the tunuan tallu rara. The method used is the hermeneutic method through a cross-textual hermeneutics approach which seeks to find similarities and differences in the two texts, including appreciative differences, enriching differences and irreconcilable differences. The results show that the two texts, both the peace offering and the tunuan tallu rara, can mutually enrich each other through the uniqueness contained in each text. This enrichment can be seen in the similarities between the two texts, namely the value, meaning and purpose which is intended as a means of requesting blessings, prosperity and peace from Allah, a means of expressing gratitude to Allah, and to build the values of love and fellowship. Apart from that, the two texts can also be mutually enriched through the invitation to give the best, appreciation for imams and tomatoa tondok, as well as the importance of advice to people who will make sacrifices. Even though there are also differences between the two texts, it is hoped that the results of this enrichment can be used by the people of both texts in responding to the plurality of society through the encounter of cultural texts and the Bible.
