ABSTRACT Lembang Uluway was an area occupied by the DI/TII movement in Tana Toraja from 1953 to 1965, triggered by disappointment over the central government's political decisions. This period was marked by forced conversions to Islam, accompanied by violence such as intimidation, oppression, and killings led by Kahar Muzakkar. The collective memory of the DI/TII event and its aftermath has influenced the spiritual condition of the Christian community in Lembang Uluway. This study aims to describe this collective memory and its impact on the spirituality of the Christian community. Utilizing a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, the study finds that while this collective memory leaves historical wounds, it also brings a positive impact by strengthening the community's spirituality and encouraging closer fellowship. Nevertheless, this historical memory receives little attention from the younger generation. Keywords: Collective memory, DI/TII, Christian spirituality.
