Abstract
Roslin Toding (2020228940) dengan judul skripsi “Analisis Peran Pelayanan Pastoral Dalam Kasus Pelanggaran Moral di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Tan-dung”. Penulis mengkaji topik ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terjadinya pelanggaran moral berupa penyalahgunaan keuangan gereja yang berdampak pada ke-hidupan jemaat di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Tandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan un-tuk menganalisis peran pelayanan pastoral dalam menangani kasus tersebut. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori fungsi pelayanan pastoral Howard Cline-bell yang meliputi penyembuhan (healing), mendukung (sustaining), membimb-ing (guiding), mendamaikan (reconciling), dan memelihara (nurturing). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi terhadap pendeta, majelis gereja, dan anggota jemaat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelanggaran moral tersebut menimbulkan kekecewaan, menurunnya kepercayaan dan partisipasi jemaat. Gereja merespons melalui berbagai bentuk pelayanan pasto-ral yang berfokus pada pemulihan hubungan, penguatan iman, dan pem-binaan jemaat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelayanan pastoral ber-peran penting dalam memulihkan kehidupan persekutuan serta membangun kembali kepercayaan jemaat. Abstract Roslin Toding (2020228940) wrote a thesis entitled "Analysis of the Role of Pastoral Care in a Case of Moral Violation in the Tandung Congregation of the Toraja Church." The author examines this topic, motivated by the occur-rence of a moral violation in the form of misuse of church finances that im-pacted the lives of the congregation at the Tandung Congregation of the Toraja Church. This study aims to analyze the role of pastoral care in handling this case. The theory used is Howard Clinebell's theory of pastoral care functions, which includes healing, sustaining, guiding, reconciling, and nurturing. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through interviews and observations with pastors, church councils, and congregation members. The results indicate that this moral viola-tion led to disappointment, decreased trust, and decreased congregation partic-ipation. The church responded through various forms of pastoral care focused on restoring relationships, strengthening faith, and fostering congregational development. This study concludes that pastoral care plays a crucial role in re-storing fellowship and rebuilding congregational trust.
