Abstract
Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan, Penyandang Disabilitas, The Accessible God. ABSTRACT People with disabilities still face negative views that view them as a burden, useless, or even cursed. This view arises because of an inaccurate theological understanding. This research aims to theologically examine the empowerment of people with disabilities carried out at Community Resource Rehabilitation (RBM) Toraja based on the concept of The Accessible God. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The research results show that empowerment at RBM Toraja covers all aspects of the lives of people with disabilities, physical, social, educational, economic, skills and spiritual access that are in line with the Christian faith. Empowerment restores erroneous theological views and is a form of real action in the spirit of inclusion for people with disabilities. This research provides a new perspective to empower people with disabilities through a theological frame so that people with disabilities can be recognized, accepted and play a role in society and the Christian community. Keywords: Empowerment, People with Disabilities, The Accessible God.
