Abstract

Yustin Pangloli (1020218263) menyusun skripsi dengan judul Analisis Dampak Katekisasi Sidi Dalam Pembentukan Karakter Kristiani Pemuda Di Jemaat Ebenhaezer Tampapute, di bawah bimbingan Dr. Sanda Mongan, S.Th., M.Pd.K. dan Christian E. Randalele, M.Pd.K. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pembentukan karakter kristiani melalui katekisasi sidi di jemaat Ebenhaezer Tampapute. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi di lokasi penelitian. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah alumni katekisasi sidi dan pendeta atau pengajar. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya dampak yang berimbang dalam pembentukan karakter tersebut. Di satu sisi, katekisasi sidi berhasil memberikan pengaruh positif bagi sebagian pemuda, namun di sisi lain penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa dampak tersebut belum sepenuhnya maksimal bagi alumni katekisasi sidi. Dengan demikian, meskipun katekisasi sidi memberikan fondasi moral yang baik, keberhasilannya dalam membentuk karakter sangat bergantung pada dukungan lingkungan dan cara penyampaian materi yang lebih relevan. ABSTRACT Yustin Pangloli (1020218263) wrote a thesis entitled "Analysis of the Impact of Sidi Catechism in the Formation of Christian Character of Youth in the Ebenhaezer Tampapute Congregation," under the guidance of Dr. Sanda Mongan, S.Th., M.Pd.K. and Christian E. Randalele, M.Pd.K. This study aims to analyze Christian character formation through Sidi catechism in the Ebenhaezer Tampapute Congregation. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, encompassing observation, interviews, and documentation at the research site. Informants in this study were Sidi catechism alumni and pastors or teachers. The collected data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed a balanced impact on character formation. On the one hand, Sidi catechism successfully had a positive influence on some youth, but on the other hand, this study also found that this impact was not fully maximized for Sidi catechism alumni. Thus, although the catechism provides a good moral foundation, its success in shaping character depends heavily on environmental support and a more relevant way of delivering the material.
