Abstract
ABSTRACK Ajeng Kartin Paramma’ (2020218637) is the author of this undergraduate thesis entitled “A Theological Analysis of the Role of the Church in Accompanying Children with Inner Wounds at the Toraja Church, Kaero Congregation.” This study is motivated by the author’s observations of children who experience inner wounds as a result of parental separation, for whom the church holds an important role. However, in reality, the church has not been actively involved in accompanying these children, causing them to long for a church that is present as a primary pillar that continuously embraces and supports them. As God’s creation, children have the right to be treated with love, respect, and justice. Therefore, the role of the church should not be limited solely to the proclamation of the Word, but also extend to its responsibility as a community of faith that is accountable for the holistic growth and development of children. Through this comprehensive role, the church’s calling to witness, fellowship, and service can be faithfully realized for the glory of God’s name. Keywords: Church, Children, Inner Wounds.
